Once upon a time, in a town so ordinary, there stood an antiquated house filled with tales of ghostly whispers. Halloween night gave the old house a creepy glow, shadows dancing on the broken windows like mischievous ghouls.
Each year, a challenge was held. Whichever brave soul ventured into the house and retrieved the porcelain doll from the top floor, would be crowned the bravest kid in town. This year, a scrawny boy named Timmy, decided it was his turn to prove himself.
Armed with only a flashlight, Timmy gingerly stepped into the house. He made his way to the top floor, the whispering air growing colder. With a gulp, he grabbed the porcelain doll and bolted back down. With a huff of relief, he was safe on the porch, doll in hand.
Just as he was about to celebrate his victory, he felt a tug on his leg. When he looked down, to his horror, there was a second porcelain doll. This one look exactly like him!
A cackle erupted from the house, leaving Timmy pale. Turns out, the scariest thing wasn’t in the house, it was standing on the porch the whole time – a porcelain doll named Timmy!
