Once upon a Halloween night in a small, undisturbed town named Caligo, resided a seemingly abandoned mansion. In reality, it housed a peculiar resident, a ghost named Giddy. Unlike cold and spooky ghost stereotypes, Giddy thrived on humor and merry trickery.
Every Halloween, Giddy would lure in brave, curious folks with a glow of warm light and faint hints of laughter echoing from the mansion’s depths. Giddy loved to play pranks that had everyone laughing, while nervously checking over their shoulders.
This Halloween, the adventurous twins, Annie and Alfie, decided to explore the mansion. As they stepped in, their hearts thudded with nervous excitement. A sudden burst of laughter filled the room. Floating pies splatted the twins, chandelier lights blinked, playing a disco, and a ghostly hand offered them candy. Laughter welled within them despite the eerie surroundings.
Just when the twins decided it wasn’t that scary, Giddy outdid himself. In an anticlimactic twist, he popped out sporting a ridiculous clown outfit instead of a creepy monster one, causing the twins to erupt in laughter. The town of Caligo mourned the missed Halloween jokes as Annie and Alfie became Giddy’s best audience. And Giddy? He relished their laughter, his favorite Halloween treat!
They say, till today, every Halloween, a spectral laughter haunts Caligo, and anyone brave enough to enter the mansion gets a different kind of scare – of dying… with laughter!
