Indeed, Omen had a secret. Every October 31st at exactly midnight, for a brief moment, the ghost of the notorious pirate Captain ‘One-Eyed’ Jack materialised, with his spectral ship anchored in the town’s pumpkin patch. Legend said that the first person to touch the ghostly galleon would be granted a single wish.
That year, fearless little Timmy decided he’d be that lucky person. As the town clock struck twelve, the ethereal pirate ship appeared, with ‘One-Eyed’ Jack standing tall on deck. Timmy, his heart pounding with adventurous spirits, touched the phantom vessel.
With a hearty laugh that echoed in the chilly Halloween air, the Captain boomed, “Name your wish, brave lad!” Without skipping a beat, Timmy declared, “I wish for a lifetime supply of candies!”
