Once upon a chilling Halloween night, an old mansion stood in the shadowed outskirts of the town. An eccentric millionaire, Jack, who was known for his Halloween obsessions, lived there.
Every Halloween, he would invite the local kids for a spookfest. They would be given a reward if they dared to spend the night in the mansion, with no one ever having collected it. This year as well, Jack invited them with his old creaky voice, promising a fortune to anyone who survived the night.
With trembling hearts and wild imaginations, the kids stepped into the eerie mansion. Jack, enjoying their nervousness, started narrating old ghost stories and strange howls echoed. Fear spread, and every minute felt like an hour. They watched as a chandelier shook ominously, and the grand clocks struck midnight in a ghostly manner.
At the crack of dawn, they found themselves alone. No sign of Jack. Doors creaked open, revealing the empty rooms. They gathered their wits and ventured into Jack’s private chamber, only to find his portrait dated 1820 with a plaque reading, “Ghostly Host”.
And with that, they all became richer and the mansion… emptier. Every Halloween, they look forward to visit an empty mansion, knowing its only resident is a ghost who loves a good scare!
