Title: “The Curse of the Magic Pumpkin: A Halloween Tale”

Once upon a time, an eccentric inventor named Dr. Potts created a magic pumpkin. This pumpkin, as Potts proudly proclaimed, held the power to reverse age. People came from miles around to touch the glowing, golden orb, desperately hoping to shave off a few years.

But Halloween was around the corner, and late into the night, a mischievous local kid, Griffin, crept into Potts’ lab. Laughing quietly to himself, Griffin carved a face into the magic pumpkin, thus creating the world’s first ever Jack-O-Lantern. Next thing Griffin knew, he was walking out of the lab, beard dragging, joints aching; he had aged drastically!

Panicking, Griffin ran around town seeking help, but every door slammed shut, as people recoiled in fear at the sight of a ‘haunted old man’. The town was now rife with whispers of a cursed, elderly spirit that roamed its streets. Poor Griffin was proclaimed Halloween’s official ghost!

And here’s the kicker. Dr. Potts discovered what had happened, and laughing to himself, he put up a sign next to the magic pumpkin, “Side effects may include a sudden spike in maturity. Happy Halloween!”
