Title: The Candy Wizard of Elm Street

Once upon a chilly Halloween night, a kid named Timmy tossed on his ghost costume, ready for the greatest evening of trick-or-treating. Fortified with promises of piles of candy, he ventured out into the moonlit neighborhood, tackling every creepy path and ominous house.

At the gloomiest house on Elm Street, Timmy hesitated. He’d heard stories of a wicked witch haunting the place, but he summoned all his courage and rang the doorbell. To his surprise, he was greeted by an old woman with a kindly face, something that defied the spine-chilling rumors.

She offered him a plum-sized, glittering gemstone. “No candy tonight, dear, just this special stone!” she said in a sweet voice. Bewildered but intrigued, Timmy took the stone and thanked her, feeling mildly disappointed about losing candy.

Dashing home later, eager to examine the gemstone, he bumped into it and poof! It transformed into a spectacular mountain of delightful candies. Timmy goggled at it in wonder, his heart pounding with joy. Suddenly, he remembered the identical “candy” button on his costume. Grinning wildly, he tried the rest of his “buttons.”

And, that’s the story of how the “haunted house” on Elm Street became a hit with neighborhood children each year and Timmy came to be known as the “candy wizard.”
