Once upon a Halloween night, in a spooky old manor, lived an eccentric old wizard known only as Zell. Loved in town for his pumpkin-spiced potions and detested by cats for his disturbing cackly laugh.
Every Halloween, Zell brewed a special potion. ‘Jack-O-Lantern’s Cackle’, he called it. Sipped at midnight, the drinker would enjoy 364 days of good fortune.
On this particular Halloween, a curious cat sneaked into Zell’s manor. Known for her insatiable curiosity, Sniffles crept into the room holding the bubbling potion.
“Miaow!” she protested, swatting the potion with her paw. It toppled over, emptying its contents onto Sniffles who bristled vibrantly, suddenly glowing like a mini sun.
When the old wizard discovered what had transpired, he roared with laughter as Sniffles glowed, like a furry night light.
That night, Sniffles ran out of the manor, lighting up the darkness as she sprinted, leaving a trail of laughters echoing throughout the town.
And on the dot of midnight, he raised his potion to toast, “The cackle has found a new host!” Thus, Sniffles the glowing cat became the town’s mascot and Zell, he now enjoyed his own potion all year round! Hence, the cat who feared the dark became the embodiment of Halloween light!
