Title: The Wizard’s Halloween Redemption

The annual Halloween parade was supposed to start at 7:30 pm sharp. But, of course, Mildred, the eccentric witch who organized the event every year, was late. The town’s monsters, ghouls, and a few brave humans were all waiting impatiently, their costumes shimmering in the light of the October moon.

Finally, at 7:45 pm, Mildred appeared, flying low on her broomstick. But something was odd. She was not her usual confident self. Her face was pale, and she looked around nervously, clutching a mysterious small bag.

Without any ceremony, she screamed, “it’s gone!”. The crowd gasped, a murmur rippled through. “My spell book has been stolen!”. Panic ensued, as everyone knew that without the spell book, the Halloween night was cursed.

Suddenly, a young boy stepped forward. He was dressed as a wizard, a costume so realistic, it was eerie. “I think I can help,” he said, holding up the missing spell book. He’d found it on a park bench, alone. The townsfolk cheered, but the wizard just smiled. He saved Halloween, and with his newfound power, witches and wizards were no longer feared but idolized. The surprise was, he was the real wizard all along!
