“The Phantom Party Host: Old Grumbler George’s Halloween Haunt in Fabler’s Mansion”

“It was Halloween, when the veils between the worlds thin, and the impossible becomes possible. Innocent little town of Serenity had a tradition on this spooky day, in Fabler’s Mansion, an ’empty’ old house at the edge of town. Empty, but for its grandiloquent resident – a ghost, settled since time immemorial.”

“Yet, in contrast to its ghoulish expectations, our ghost was a sophisticated specter, a classy apparition who enjoyed the company of the living. Each Halloween, it invited the whole town for a grand ‘Haunted Party’. People dressed in odd costumes, games with mysterious twists, and pranks that brought an airy laughter that echoed through the mansion.”

“Mysterious as it was, the town folks loved their winsome wraith and its peculiar party. Not a single soul in Serenity missed the event, adults relieved of their responsibilities, children forgetting their homework, the bakery, the butcher and even old Grumbler George.”

“So, what’s the catch?”, you ask. There is always that, isn’t it? Well, the mansion on the outskirts of Serenity, as it turns out, was never haunted. The convivial ghost, my dear reader, was none other than old Grumbler George–prankster extraordinaire, keeping the Halloween spirit alive.”
