“The Ghostly Games of Miss Wanda: A Bewitching Encounter”

Once upon a frightful Halloween night, a playful ghost named Dexter dwelled in the cob-webbed corners of the town’s oldest mansion. Dexter was an amusing soul, always up for a harmless scare or two. The mansion was his playground, and though abandoned by the living, it swarmed with the energy of entertaining spectres.

However, this Halloween night felt different. For the first time, the mansion’s rusted bell buzzed with life, announcing the arrival of a visitor. An eccentric, sprightly woman, known as Miss Wanda, had moved into his labyrinth-like abode.

Mischievous Dexter made the chandeliers swing and the floorboards creak, trying his best to frighten Miss Wanda. However, she proved defiant. Instead of packing her bags, she simply laughed off the occurrences, attributing them to the mansion’s old age. She refused to recognise his tricks, dismissing them as pranks.

Dexter, determined to scare her, cooked up his greatest scheme yet. At the stroke of midnight, he floated across the room, revealing his ghostly form, ready for his dramatic haunting.

To his surprise, Miss Wanda simply chuckled, “Oh, thank heavens! I’ve been waiting for you to show up, Dexter. I’ve missed my childhood home’s antics!” She casually sauntered through him to get to the fridge, leaving behind a flabbergasted Dexter who was, for the first time in his afterlife, ghosted!
