Once upon a time, in a small town named Whisper Hollow, there lived a peculiar feline named Shadow. This black cat, infamous for her piercing green eyes and uncanny agility, was considered a harbinger of misfortune during Halloween.
Residents would gasp and quickly usher their children indoors whenever Shadow strutted down the cobblestone streets. They were convinced that the cat was responsible for the eerie occurrences during the spooky season. But, young Oscar – an ardent cat lover, thought otherwise.
On Halloween, Oscar decided to prove his town’s superstition wrong. He bunked off the evening trick-or-treating and followed Shadow instead. To his surprise, instead of causing chaos, Shadow led Oscar to an old, abandoned house.
Tentatively, Oscar stepped inside the rundown mansion and found mounds of forgotten toys – every missing Halloween item. Shadow was not causing the misfortunes but was collecting the lost and discarded items!
The next day, Oscar returned the toys to their rightful owners, revealing the truth about Shadow. The surprise on people’s faces was priceless! Since then, Whisper Hollow’s most feared became the most loved, and the story of Shadow has been the town’s favourite Halloween tail …err…tale ever since.
