On a chilling Halloween night, in the village of Creepsville, there lived a mysterious old woman named Madam Zelda everyone called “Spooky Z.” She was notorious for her eerie demeanor and her old, haunted mansion that was rumored to be a paradise for ghouls.
Each Halloween, Spooky Z invited village folks to her Halloween party and always promised to conjure the past souls. Despite being scared, the thrill of her enchanting tales tempted everyone. Spooky Z stood in front of the ancient fireplace, tales of the otherworldly seeping from her lips like slow poison.
However, this Halloween was going to be memorable. “Tonight, for the first time, I’ll reveal a secret,” Spooky Z stated dramatically, causing ears to perk and hearts to pound. Continuing her spooky story, she suddenly stopped, fell into a momentary trance, and startled everyone by shedding her eerie demeanor.
“Do you want to know my secret?” She asked. The crowd gasped in anticipation. With a chuckle, Spooky Z announced, “I’ve been pranking all of you! There are no ghouls, no conjuring souls, just plain old me trying to keep the spirit of Halloween alive!” With a wink and an impish smile, everyone roared with laughter and relief.
