Title: “Samhain’s Spooky Redemption: A Ghostly Halloween Tale”

Every Halloween Samhain, the ghost, enjoyed playing trick or treat. Only, his tricks were a bit more… otherworldly. He gravitated towards old Mrs. Chandler’s house. She was the only one who could see him and responded to his “Boo!” with delicious homemade candy.

One Halloween, as he was floating towards her door, he saw a figure in the painting of Admiral Chandler blink. It was Mrs. Chandler’s deceased husband! “Eight score and ten years and you still scare people?” the Admiral scowled carrying a resemblance of a frown on his painted face. “How about doing some good?”

That gave Samhain a new idea. He flew to little Timmy’s home, the town’s infamous bully. “Boo!” he roared, and Timmy screamed. Laughing, Samhain made himself visible, whispering, “Bully or be haunted!”

The following day, Timmy behaved like an angel. Samhain followed him around, a satisfied smile adorning his ethereal face. His trick wasn’t just a treat for Timmy’s victims, but also for himself.

That Halloween, Samhain learned even ghosts can enjoy giving treats. And guess who got the most candy at Mrs. Chandler’s house? An Admiral painting, which suddenly had a sweet tooth!
