Under an oasis of eerie shadows, in the small town of ‘Ravenclaw’, lived a strange child named Rowan. Unlike other kids, Rowan wore a peculiar cobweb-like cape, and eyeliner as dark as the midnight sky. With a knack for arcane rituals, he earned the nickname ‘Cobweb Kid’.
Every Halloween, the streets buzzed with chatter of Cobweb Kid’s newest venture, his daring dare for the other kids. “Who would take a dare from Cobweb Kid?” whispered little Timmy. Everyone knew; the ones who dared, never came back the same.
Finally, Halloween arrived. Sweaty palms and quivering lips, Timmy approached Rowan, who declared, “Retrieve the legendary ‘Witch’s Cackle’ from the haunted house on Deadman’s Lane!”
With sheer determination, Timmy overcame his fear, vanquished eerie noises, and grabbed the ‘Witch’s Cackle’ – a rusty old wind chime! On his way out, he caught a glinting blink under a loose floorboard, revealing a number of very similar looking wind chimes…
Back outside, he handed Rowan the wind chime. Beneath the dark eyeliner, Rowan grinned at Timmy, whispering, “Welcome to the Chime Collectors Club!” The others burst out laughing; it was all a jubilant jest. The ‘haunted’ exploration was simply wooden wind chimes ordered by Rowan’s mother for her booming eBay business!
