“Well, well, well! Halloween in the quirky town of Quibbleton had always been an event of much eccentricity and this year, it was no different. However, the story I’m about to unfold takes a wickedly unexpected turn.
Every year, the houses in Quibbleton outdid themselves with decorations, enough to make the bravest of souls get the willies. But the highlight of the event was always the ghastly looking mansion on Green Street – supposedly haunted and owned by an enigmatic lady, Ms. Haversham.
This year, as dusk fell, everyone gathered around her mansion – waiting for the theatrical appearance of Ms. Haversham, who was rumored to be 113 years old. Oh, how the townsfolk loved the spine-chilling stories surrounding old Ms. Haversham and her haunted mansion.
When the clock struck midnight, Ms. Haversham, cloaked in black, opened her mansion doors with a wicked cackle. But instead of her usual feast of freakish tales, she ushered the townsfolk inside with a devilish grin.
To their bewildered delight, the mansion was transformed into a breath-taking Halloween Wonderland, complete with cobwebs, cackling pumpkins and candy treats!
It turned out that the mysteries of the haunted mansion were simply the crafty handiwork of Ms. Haversham, the world’s most dedicated Halloween enthusiast! The real scare was, she wasn’t 113… she was just 31!”
