Title: “The Fairy Princess and the Neighborhood King of Halloween Scares”

On a foggy Halloween evening, young Johnny sat apprehensively on his porch. He was waiting eagerly, trembling behind his Frankenstein mask, ready to scare any brave trick-or-treaters who dared venture out. Johnny, after all, was the Neighborhood King of Halloween Scares.

His latest creation was a terrifying animatronic zombie he painstakingly crafted. He had hooked this monster to a fishing line attached to his porch door. Anyone who dared approach would activate the beast. Its dreadful roar echoed down the empty stree

ts, even making Johnny shiver in delight.

A faint rustling startled Johnny as a shadow loomed in the corner of his peripheral vision. Slowly, a little girl, no older than six, dressed as a fairy princess, ambled towards his porch, her eyes wide with apprehension. Johnny could hardly contain his excitement, anticipating her scream.

As the fairy princess reached the porch, the zombie monstrosity sprang to life. Johnny watched wide-eyed, ready for the shrill scream. But, to his shock, the tiny princess stomped her foot, bellowed a fairy-sized, “shush!”, and the creature fell silent, its red eyes dimming.

“I’m a fairy princess,” she announced proudly. “I can tame monsters.”

And that’s how, on one foggy Halloween evening, Johnny realized that there was a new Ruler of Spooks, a fairy princess no less.
