Once upon a midnight dreary, in the miniature hamlet of Pumpkin Hollow, the bubbly butcher, Bill, prepared for his favorite holiday – Halloween. Halloween in Pumpkin Hollow was no ordinary event; dusk marked the wake of the town’s notorious ghost, Old Lady Hubble.
Bill, an ardent fan of pranks, meticulously transformed his modest butcher shop into a maze of chilling frights, designed to flabbergast the stoutest of hearts. His pièce de résistance was a frightful replica of Old Lady Hubble.
At the stroke of twilight, excited whispers rose through the town. Ghostly Frost was seen dancing along the windows of the butcher shop. Something wicked was afoot!
Bill’s jig of triumph was cut short as his wooden door creaked open. Out hobbled an older woman, stooped and tremulous, striking an uncanny resemblance to his replica – it was the ghostly figure of Old Lady Hubble!
Everyone watched in stunned silence as she winked at Bill, reached for the juiciest steak and tottered off into the foggy night, leaving the receipt behind! Turns out, Old Lady Hubble wasn’t haunting the town; she was just stopping by for her annual Halloween steak shopping!
