Once upon a spine-tingling Halloween night, little Timmy tiptoed around an eerie haunted house in the outskirts of his quaint town. He wanted to prove to his daredevil friends that he wasn’t afraid of ghost stories.
Inside, there were scraping noises, flickering lights, and peculiar shadows dancing on the walls. Timmy swallowed his fear and proceeded, clutching his candy bag tightly. With every step, he recited, “There’s no such thing as ghosts.”
Then came an entity, spectral and spectral, its icy, transparent hand reached out to Timmy. Terrified, Timmy closed his eyes, prepared for the worst. You could hear a pin drop in the silence that ensued. In his hand, he felt something…warm and squishy.
Startled, Timmy opened his eyes to find the ghost had placed a giant gummy worm in his hand. “Trick or Treat!”, the apparition bellowed and vanished,
The story of the candy-bearing ghost spread throughout the town, and no child was ever scared of the haunted house. Halloween became not only a night of fright but also of delight.
So, the lesson here? Not everything that haunts is horrific; some spirits may just have a sweet tooth!
