Once upon a time in the town of Bewitchery, lay a small, tumbledown house known as Quirk Manor. Every Halloween, a duo of mischievous twins Jerry and Terry took up a thrill-chasing challenge to brave themselves while enduring creepy whispers of clockwork spirits in the house. On an unusually foggy Halloween night, they made their way into the Manor.
Armed with a single flashlight they maneuvered through the squeaky corridors, a chorus of whispers circling them. They gasped as piercing screams echoed, a painting of a prim lady displaying double-sided fangs. Heart pounding, they sprinted, only for the whispers to grow louder.
Instead of fleeing, they resolved to face the haunting head-on. They followed the whispers, heart pounded from fear, but they ventured deeper Courageously. The whispers led them to a rusty, ancient box hidden in the corner. With trembling hands, they opened the box. Inside lay a cobweb-ridden clock. Without thinking, Terry wound up the clock and to their utmost surprise, silence fell upon the Manor. Suddenly, the whispers stopped, and they noticed the house losing its eerie aura.
The next morning, our twins woke up in Quirk Manor, completely at peace. The townsfolk cheered, calling them heroes. But, the prim lady with double-sided fangs was nowhere to be found. They laughed, shrugged, and walked away. But if you ever walked past Quirk Manor, you’d swear you heard the faintest ticking sound and sometimes, you might find yourself in a very polite conversation with the friendly doppelganger twins, Terry and Jerry, now living happily in the Quirk Manor.
