Once upon a time, in the spooky town of Ghoulsville, there lived a witch, Winifred, who was rather comically afraid of the dark. Yes, my dear, a witch scared of the shadows — a delightful twist, I know.
As Halloween approached, the sun disappeared a little earlier each day, leaving Winifred trembling in her pointy black boots. The townsfolk, half-ghoulish themselves and not quite sympathetic, found her fear entertaining.
Then, Halloween night descended. Winifred turned a ghastly white, her heart pounding. She summoned the bravest whisper she could muster, “Broomstick, we need a little magic!”
In a flash, the broomstick transformed to a glowing lantern, illuminating Winifred’s path. Wide-eyed and surprised, she ventured out of her comfort zone, the light warding off her fear.
Ghoulsville watched in awe as the glow from Winifred’s lantern lit up the castle, the pumpkins, the ancient graveyard. The eerie chill subsided, and something incredible happened — the town started celebrating!
Lo and behold, Winifred’s fear had paved the way for Ghoulsville’s very first Halloween party! And so, the witch terrified of the darkness brought light into the world. Sometimes, the ghosts of your fears can be, quite unexpectedly, your greatest strength!
