As Halloween neared, the twin witches, Winnie and Minnie, busied themselves with the annual task of crafting their broomsticks. They prided themselves on being cutting-edge witches, swapping out the traditional rickety wooden brooms for sleek metallic rocket brooms. Their greatest joy was their Halloween night flight, soaring over the town leaving behind a trail of luminous magic dust that made the townsfolks’ wishes come true.
This year was different, though. By some error, they’d picked up buckets of Goblin Glitter instead of Moonbeam Magic. Goblin Glitter was known for its mischievous powers. Completely oblivious, they completed their brooms, excited for their impending flight.
As they flew over the town sprinkling the glitter, peculiar things began to happen. Farmer Ted’s cows began to moo in different languages, little Susie’s pet cat turned into a small dinosaur, and the mayor awoke to find his mansion had turned into a gingerbread house!
Upon landing, Winnie and Minnie found the disorder amusing. They did, after all, enjoy a good prank. But the punchline wasn’t here yet. As they turned toward each other to rejoice in their unexpected mischief, they burst into peals of unearthly laughter. The Goblin Glitter, in its ultimate prank, had switched their voices!
