Title: “Mrs Moony’s Haunted Gingerbread House: A Sweet Halloween Surprise”

Inside the forgotten village of Kettle Black, lived the eccentric Mrs Moony, known for her recently acquired, creepy gingerbread house. However, every Halloween, children would gather courage to knock at her door for candy, only to be met with an eerie silence.

This Halloween, a brave soul, Little Benny, decided to go a step further – if Mrs Moony wouldn’t come to the door, he would walk right in! So, as the pumpkin moon shone bright, the adventurous lad stepped into the house.

He was met with the delicious scent of fresh pumpkin pies and apple tarts. Mrs Moony, to his surprise, stood in a cheery apron, her hair neatly tied back. This didn’t seem like a haunting picture.

“Oh dear Benny,” she chuckled, “you finally broke the fear! Here, have some pie!”

As Benny relayed the tale to the village children, trick-or-treating at Mrs Moony’s became the most awaited event. The haunted gingerbread house turned into the coziest pie corner in Kettle Black.

And the village learnt a delightful Halloween lesson – sometimes, the scariest looking houses are just a facade hiding warm pumpkin pies and an eccentric but kind-hearted Mrs Moony.
