Once upon a time in the sleepy town of Broomsworth, every Halloween, an exceptionally tall scarecrow appeared mysteriously in the cornfield. With a hollow pumpkin for a head and rusty nails for teeth, he was the object of nightmares for many.
One Halloween, the local prankster, Timmy, decided to unravel this mystery. Dressed as a miniature ghost, he ventured into the cornfield to confront the scarecrow. Hours passed, yet Timmy hadn’t returned; only his ghost-like costume was found the next morning.
‘Timmy the Ghost’ the townsfolk began to whisper, as they noticed a new, shorter scarecrow in the cornfield. Halloween was never the same after that. Each year, a new scarecrow appeared, each one freakishly resembling youngsters who had attempted to uncover the scarecrow’s secret.
Years later, Broomsworth was considered a haunted town and the legend of ‘Timmy the Ghost’ lived on. The townsfolk accepted Timmy’s feat as a lesson, leaving the scarecrows untouched and Halloween remarkably haunting.
In an unexpected twist one Halloween, Timmy, now a grown man, returned to Broomsworth. He revealed he had been pranking the town all these years by creating new scarecrows, thus teaching everyone a Halloween lesson they would never forget.
